Join the Lubbock locals at The Raider Lounge! This 2BR/ 1BA home features a new kitchen, furniture, bedding, smart TVs, and appliances to make your stay as homey as possible. Our plush king mattresses will give you the best sleep while traveling, making this property offer so much to small groups. If needed the couch can sleep an extra guest for stays. Located in Tech Terrace, Raider Lounge is minutes away from university events, restaurants, and night life.
The newly renovated interior gives this space a fresh face that will allow comfortable stays both short and long.
The living room features a leather couch, fun accent chairs, and a 65" Smart TV with all the streaming apps available. You are more than welcome to log into your personal account or use the screen mirroring function on tablets and laptops, since we do not provide cable.
Our kitchen comes stocked with the cooking and utensil basics to cook a meal during your stay. Stainless steel oven, fridge, dishwasher, sink and other appliances make this kitchen a dream to cook in. The large dining table sits just to the side and allows plenty of seating, which could double as a place to setup your laptop and work from home.
The bathroom is clean, updated, and stocked with all the linens and toiletries one might need throughout their stay. The hair dryer is mounted on the wall and other miscellaneous items are stored in the cabinet space under the sink. Shampoo and body wash is provided in each of the bathrooms.
Both bedrooms feature king mattresses, and we've been told they are the comfiest to stay on. New linens in each bedroom also spice up the décor in this property. Two nightstands on each side, with closet and dresser space to hide away luggage.
All areas of the house are available for use with the exception of the locked cleaning closet.
Our interaction with guests is very minimal. The front door has a keypad so that you may let yourselves in and out. Once you have booked, please refer to the check-in instructions for entry codes that are sent out 3 days before your stay. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. Should you need anything during your stay, we live nearby and will usually be available to help at any time. We pride ourselves on our quick responses. Let us know if you're looking for restaurant recommendations or something to do!
Garrott, Shawna, and Amanda are your local hosts. We are available by phone, text, or Airbnb message whenever needed. Unless it's an emergency please try to limit late night phone calls or texts. We are happy to assist guests whenever needed but we do have our own families that we take care of as well. If you need anything, just reach out.
Raider Lounge is located in the popular Tech Terrace neighborhood. Right off of University and 19th, this house is great for families traveling to visit Texas Tech, go to the games, or enjoy Lubbock.
Other than Uber, Lubbock transportation is poor. A car is recommended, although feel free to message us with your travel plans to see if it is necessary.
Parking on the side has plenty of space for 2 vehicles, and there is always free parking available on the street.
This property is pet friendly, but we ask that you let us if you are bringing them in the Airbnb app before arrival. Please keep all pets off of all furniture and bedding and pick up any waste. If they cause any damage or extra cleanup, you will be charged accordingly.
